While we continue to define this role, we’d like to give our community first-priority visibility before we externally recruit for the role, if it comes down to that.

The qualification criteria for the Executive Vice President will largely include the candidate defining what the role is, or should, be. As Steve Jobs said, "It doesn't make sense to hire smart people and tell them what to do; we hire smart people so they can tell us what to do."

Here is what we have so far:

• We believe we're in a position to offer the 50Pros community something greater that goes beyond a digital realm of an online platform, and into physical in-person spaces
• Think WeWork spaces, but with added benefits; i.e. a physical address for (mostly remote) companies to use as their corporate HQ, with fully dedicated administrative support (i.e. ability to use various office spaces around the USA in cities like NYC, Chicago, Austin, etc.), the ability to send/receive/forward physical mail from your virtual address, the ability to use the space to host events like team outings/retreats, and more)
• Physical spaces will also contribute to overall growth for the 50Pros platform (and the agencies and companies using 50Pros), which we will discuss later
• We don't know if this will succeed or not, but we're committed to supporting our community as much as possible, and this is a route that we are looking into
• Thus, there is a degree of uncertainty which you must be comfortable with
• The candidate we seek must have robust experience in real estate, which is an area none of the founding team has experience in, and an aggressive propensity to execute & produce results
• This role is remote, but preference is given to candidates in the New York City and Washington DC area
• Compensation includes working toward a great mission with great people, a 6-figure base salary; plus profit-sharing and equity
