Rebuilding an existing WordPress site for Construction Company

Rebuilding an existing WordPress site for Construction Company

Robert Evans Company is a construction and building services firm with an existing WordPress that was over 10 years old. The website had strong visual appeal but was built on WPBakery Visual builder and a theme that could no longer be updated. This created limitations for both content management and long-term stability.

Challenge

Although the design was generally aligned with their brand, the underlying framework was more than a decade old. This made updates time-consuming, introduced security risks, and limited the ability to improve usability or expand the site. Even small page edits required workarounds due to the outdated builder.

Solution

We are rebuilding the website using a modern WordPress framework while using as much as the original design concepts as possible.

This allows us to:

Preserve the visual style Improve page structure and usability where needed Remove outdated and unused content Simplify ongoing updates Establish a stable, secure framework for future growth

The intention is to modernize without reinventing, keeping what works and improving what has been holding the site back.

Results

WordPress rebuild using a modern framework Improved UX refinements and structural clarity Clean, organized content architecture A maintainable site that is easy to update moving forward

We’ve had a great experience working with Hopewell Digital on our website. Kiondra has been thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly detail-oriented throughout the process. She took the time to understand who we are at Robert Evans Company and translated that into a site that truly reflects our work and values. We appreciate the level of care and expertise they brought to the project and would absolutely recommend her.
