They used their own setup with Atlassian tools and spreadsheets, and we had regular sync meetings to discuss progress and solutions. A project manager was also involved to keep everything organized. Communication was mainly through twice-weekly calls and Slack. At times, the process could have been more flexible, and adapting to new requirements wasn’t always fast. Still, the overall workflow was solid and reliable. One thing we really appreciated was how predictable the delivery and costs were — they stayed close to the initial estimates, which is not always the case in development projects. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be stronger observability and monitoring, especially when dealing with bugs and releases. We also faced some challenges with data migrations and consistency for existing users. Overall, it was a positive experience. The team is reliable, and they’re easy to work with on a long-term basis.

The first major milestone is the MVP, which already includes a monetization system with subscription management inside the app. Based on how this phase is going, we’re planning to continue working with them on further development after launch.
