The collaboration resulted in early traction, with the app reaching around 50 daily active users during a limited release. This outcome increased confidence in the product’s potential for growth with a broader marketing push. The team consistently met deadlines, addressed bugs efficiently, and remained highly responsive. What were your main goals when engaging Weelorum? They stood out due to their strong reviews, competitive pricing, and overall alignment with our expectations. What was the team size? Beyond the MVP, they developed a scalable version of the app and provided a clear roadmap for future feature development. What results demonstrate the project’s success? During a soft launch, the app quickly reached around 50 daily active users. This indicates strong potential for scaling with additional marketing efforts. At this stage, the product feels stable and ready for further growth. How was their project management? Did they meet deadlines? Overall, they managed timelines well. However, this has improved significantly, and the team now has clearer processes in place to resolve issues quickly.
Private, Business Development Manager at Boutique Media Company
The Weelorum team has reached the project goals and sometimes even adds extra features. Their project management is effective, and they often deliver on time or even earlier. Strong customer service is one of the main reasons the client values their work. What did you need Weelorum to help you with? We wanted to build an iOS mobile app. What work has Weelorum done for your company? We gave Weelorum a short brief, and they helped us build a long-term plan to launch the app in the App Store. They also supported us with the many details connected to that process. The main project is the app, but they have also completed a few smaller projects for us. The app is based on music. Its main feature is creating personalized music that helps users relax, sleep, and meditate. This is one of the key focuses of one of our sub-brands. The app gives users a more customized version of what we already offer. How many people worked on the project? In total, we work with about 10 people from their side. What results have you seen from the partnership? Whenever we have a new goal or project, we clearly explain what we want done. Weelorum then goes through the list and shows what was completed, what was not completed, and what extra work they added beyond our request. How did they handle project management? They performed well in project management. Sometimes they delivered a few days late, and sometimes a few days early, but overall they stayed close to the deadlines we gave them. What impressed you most about Weelorum? Their customer service impressed us the most. The Weelorum team is very patient and really listens to the client. Even when some of our requests may not have been the best from a business point of view, they still listened carefully and worked with us professionally. Is there anything they could do better? There is nothing major to improve. There were a few small communication issues, especially with copy in the projects, but this was mostly because English is not their first language. Overall, these were very minor details. What advice would you give to future clients? People should always do their own research, but I would not warn future clients against anything.
Natasha Shukin, Founder at Digiproduct
The team built a close working relationship with the company and helped solve problems together as they appeared. Their attention to detail and flexible way of working helped them meet deadlines. Their technical advice and product suggestions also helped shape the direction of the solution. What problem did you need Weelorum to solve? We needed a web application to be developed. What work did Weelorum do for you? They built a web app that reads Hebrew books. During the project, they also advised us on the best technical solutions for the product. Now they continue to maintain the app, adding updates, new features, and new functions every month. Who worked on the project from their side? We worked with four people from their team: an Android developer, an iOS developer, a designer, and a UI architect. How did your cooperation with Weelorum begin? I had worked with Aleksandr, their CTO, before. How much did you invest in the project? We spent between $75,000 and $100,000. Is the project finished or still active? We started working together about five years ago, and the cooperation is still ongoing. What results or impact can you share? They took real responsibility for the product. They are organized and very good at solving problems. Aleksandr is smart and manages his team well. We have a strong connection with them, and they feel more like part of our own team because they care about the project and the company. Is there anything they could improve? I do not know of anything they need to improve. What advice would you give to future clients? Ask many questions and make sure the project description is very clear. Then work together to make sure everyone understands the project in the same way.
Private, Co-Founder at Social Media Startup
The project was still ongoing, but Weelorum had already completed the design part and met the client’s expectations. They created a clickable prototype that matched both the look and the functions the client wanted. The workflow was strong because of Weelorum’s clear communication and transparency. What did you hire Weelorum to help with? At the beginning, we hired Weelorum to design our social media app based on the use cases and application specifications we provided. We are also planning to hire them for the development stage of the app. What were you hoping to achieve with this project? Our goal was to create a minimum viable product that could onboard users and help us do market research before getting more funding. We also wanted a material-style design and a smooth user experience. How did you decide to work with Weelorum? My team spoke with different independent developers and development teams. In the end, we chose Weelorum because they seemed to be the best fit for the job. They had experience with similar apps, offered a good price and timeline, and showed real interest in the project. We found them on Upwork and paid them through that platform. How was the project organized? After we created the Upwork contract with Weelorum, they set up a Slack channel so we could communicate easily. We also had regular meetings at least once a week. In addition, they gave us access to a Jira dashboard where we could follow the team’s progress. Who worked with you from their team? During the design stage, we worked with both the CEO and CTO of Weelorum, and we also collaborated with one designer from their team. For the development stage, we were connected with more team members through Slack. What results did you get from the project? The design stage has been completed, and we are very happy with the result. The design was exactly what we wanted. It included all the needed app functions and even went beyond our expectations in terms of appearance. At the end of the project, we received a full mockup and a clickable design prototype. How well did both teams work together? Weelorum’s communication was more than satisfactory. Even with the time difference, our comments and concerns were answered quickly. During the whole process, we felt that our input mattered, and we felt more like collaborators than clients. The Weelorum team clearly understood our vision and even suggested extra features for the app, improving it while still staying within the original price quote. What impressed you most about Weelorum? Weelorum was very transparent and well organized. They gave us a realistic timeline and estimate, along with clear tasks and a clear path to finishing the project. Do you think anything could have been done better? No, the project could not have gone much better. We really enjoyed working with Weelorum and plan to continue in the future.
Nourhan Beyrouti, Head of Marketing and Product Management at Botigy
Weelorum delivered the expected result within the planned time and even went beyond the client’s expectations. Their workflow was smooth and helped create a more productive working process. What did you hire Weelorum to do? We partnered with Weelorum to handle the full front-end development of our app and to improve the UI/UX based on the prototype. What was the main goal of the project? Our main goal was to turn the Adobe XD prototype into a fully working app. Why did you choose Weelorum? We chose Weelorum because they seemed able to deliver the project successfully and were committed to the timeline we needed. How did the project move forward? After starting the project with Weelorum, the work moved quickly. We had three sprints, and each sprint was delivered on time. Who was involved in the project? On our side, the work included project management and design oversight. From Weelorum’s side, there was one project manager, one team leader, two front-end developers, and one UX/UI designer. In total, there were 10 people involved. What results showed that the project was successful? Within the planned time for the three sprints, Weelorum delivered everything on time and even did better than expected when handling changes and adjustments during the project. How well did your team and their team work together? We had a smooth and well-organized workflow. We used an Agile project management approach with Weelorum, and it was effective and efficient throughout the project. What stood out most about this company? Their communication and their ability to follow through on requests were outstanding. What could they improve? Weelorum is a young startup and still learning. One area they could improve is getting a clearer and more fixed scope of work from clients, so projects can be managed more smoothly according to that scope.
Oleksii Petryk, Co-Founder at Parcel Tracking Service Company
There were no results yet because the app had just been published in Google Play. Weelorum worked with the client in a clear, friendly, and open way. They regularly discussed updates, plans, and costs. The client especially liked how accurate their time and price estimates were. Why did you hire Weelorum, and what did you want to achieve? We wanted to create an app to get more customers and grow our business. We already had the UX/UI design, so we only needed development. How did you choose this company? We searched for mobile developers on Upwork that matched our budget and found around 10 options. We contacted all of them and chose Weelorum because they replied quickly, explained everything clearly, and seemed responsible. What work did they do, and how did the project go? Before the work started, they calculated the time and cost of the project. We created a shared chat where we could communicate and make decisions quickly. One month later, we received the first beta version of the app. For us, this was fast enough, especially because there were many revisions. Who worked on the project from their side? There was one project manager and one developer. Do you already have any results or feedback about the project? We cannot share numbers yet because the app is now being published in Google Play. How did they manage the project and communication? Communication was very easy, almost like talking with friends. We had Zoom calls every Monday where we discussed plans for the week. If needed, they shared their screen. They also sent time and cost updates by email in table form, so we could see the current and expected costs for the whole project. What did you value most about this company? They gave a timeline and followed it very accurately. We really liked this clarity. Was there anything they could do better? They had to publish the app themselves, even though they offered help. We would have liked more guidance in this process.
Roger Kalden, CIO & CTO at IT Company
We are happy with the new UX and UI design and hope users would like it too. Weelorum communicated well, explained the process clearly, and brought in new ideas. They also finished the project on time. What kind of project did you hire Weelorum for? We needed a new UX/UI concept for an innovative inventory app. To reach our goals and make the app easier and more effective for users, we had to rethink some common UX patterns. The main challenge was to bring in new ideas without making the app confusing for regular users. How did you select this vendor? We searched online for design companies that also had app development experience. It was important for us that they understood both design and development. Communication skills and project organization were also important in our choice. Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project. Stage 1: We reviewed the existing app and current requirements together. Stage 2: Based on this, they gave us an estimate for all project stages, and they stayed within that estimate. Stage 3: They used an iterative approach. Based on our detailed documentation about business and app use cases, they developed the UX/UI design. Stage 4: We had weekly meetings to align our ideas. They were very open to feedback and criticism, but they also defended their own ideas, which was positive. Stage 5: Using our feedback, they updated and aligned the design, which led to the final design. How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions? Their lead designer and some project office team members supported us in the work. What results show that the project went well? We are very happy with the UX/UI design. Right now, we are implementing it. We hope users will also find it useful and easy to work with, but we will know that later. How was the collaboration between your team and theirs? We were very pleased with the communication and cooperation with the Weelorum team. It was easy to speak with them and share new ideas. They also stayed within the planned timeline. What did you like most about this company? They are friendly and skilled people who truly care about the project. Since we used an iterative process and depended on their expertise, trust was very important. They explained everything clearly, stayed patient with our unusual approach, and were open to feedback while still defending strong ideas when necessary. Was there anything they could improve? No, we satisfied with the work.
Fernando Benito Abad, CTO at Custom Surgical GmbH
Weelorum successfully launched the app within three months. The team worked hard to improve the design, user experience, and customer retention. They stayed calm and handled the requirements in a practical way. Their strong team and resources were very important for the success of the project. For what projects/services did your company hire Weelorum, and what were your goals? We hired Weelorum to build a native version of an existing cross-platform app. After the success of this project, we continued working with them to add more features and improve the user experience. How did you select Weelorum and what were the deciding factors? Fair pricing, strong expertise, and the ability to quickly grow the team. Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used. The Weelorum team analyzed our existing app, created a new design proposal, and handled project management and development using technologies like Swift, Kotlin, and Firebase. Our app also needed very precise control of device hardware, so the project required strong knowledge of iOS and Android SDKs and libraries. How many resources from the Weelorum team worked with you, and what were their positions? 1 designer, 1 project manager, 2 iOS developers, and 2 Android developers. Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables? Within three months, native apps were released on both platforms. The better design and user experience improved user acquisition and especially retention. Three months later, we planned to release a new set of features that had already received very positive feedback from beta testers. Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness. Weelorum has a relaxed but effective way of working on requirements. They saved me time by turning my requirements from weekly meetings and Slack messages into user stories. They use Jira for project management and share estimates through Google Sheets. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company? The quality of their development is impressive. They always implemented the Figma designs with very high accuracy. Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently? In my opinion, they are sometimes a little too confident when estimating project scope and complexity. This is something they can improve, but it was not a serious issue and did not stop us from continuing to work with them.
Private, Founder & CEO at Financial Technology Company
Weelorum successfully released the final app in only three months. They were professional, collaborative, and worked efficiently. They often asked for feedback and used the client’s input in their work. Their transparency, patience, friendly attitude, and positive approach made them stand out. For what projects/services did your company hire Weelorum, and what were your goals? We wanted to develop a full iOS financial planning app to reach part of the millennial financial services market. How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors? We made a detailed search on UpWork for mobile app development agencies with project management, UI/UX design, and development skills. We shortlisted about five companies. After checking prices and doing interviews, we chose Weelorum because of their iOS design and development expertise. Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used. At first, we worked with another software agency to create an initial UI/UX concept and a working prototype. When we started with Weelorum, they quickly took the design and turned it into a detailed development plan. In three months, the first iOS app was completed. They worked closely with us during the whole process, asked for input, and used our feedback. We have now worked with them for more than a year and recently launched the first version of our product in the App Store. How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions? We work directly with the CEO, and we regularly communicate with a developer, a UI/UX designer, and a CTO. Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables? We have just uploaded the app to the App Store, so we will update this section later with metrics. Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness. Our main contact is easy to work with, friendly, and professional. We mostly communicate by email and Telegram. We also have weekly calls on Zoom or Google Meet. Everything is delivered on time, and if bug fixing takes longer than expected, they communicate progress well. What did you find most impressive or unique about this company? We appreciate their positive attitude, patience, and how easy they are to work with. They are down-to-earth, reliable, and professional. Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently? Mostly QA. Sometimes I spend a lot of time finding bugs and understanding where the problems are. But we are working with some major limits, because we need to connect bank accounts through Plaid, and these accounts are US-based, so they cannot link them on their side.
