How did you get into your industry?

As a lifelong learner and fanatic observer of people, I first began my professional career in location-based venture capital, implementing Hubspot CRM. During this process I developed The Insight Studio with my co-founder to do exactly what we love - to help teams develop their skill-sets and to achieve their goals.

Over 4 years and 70 clients later, we are still focused on what matters most - you and your journey!

What inspired you to start your agency?

I have always loved helping people and have been able to merge my non-traditional interpersonal communication skills with a deep "data-focused" skill set that really helps the team leverage tools for growth, and that really excites me, even after almost 5 years. That love of people and to help created the foundation for The Insight Studio and is a core tenant still to this day.

How do you manage work-life balance as an agency owner or executive?

I focus on work-life balance by prioritizing my family, mental and physical wellness in various ways.

Living in the northwest, I enjoy all 4 seasons, focusing on Mountain Biking single track, and skiing deep powder when i can!

What is the best piece of advice you've received in your career that pertains to your work, and how has it influenced your decisions?

Care, really care. This advice is more than it seems.

Once I started digging in, I realized that empathy and listening creates an ecosystem where we help others succeed and develop success. To listen and care, we open ourselves up to vast opportunities for synergy and teamwork, and this has helped me bridge the gap from "working for you" to "working with you."

What do you wish people knew about your industry?

I wish people knew there was more to marketing and sales when it comes to the daily work we face to achieve success. By helping teams take a blended approach, I hope to help individuals and teams overcome burnout, increase productivity, and ENJOY their days!

What changes have you seen occur since you got into this business?

There have been so many massive changes but there has been one constant "north-star"- PEOPLE. Even with AI and technology changing the way we work, the WHY we work has not changed. We are humans, and as people, engagement and relationships are key to success, even in the AI age!
