Multi-Store Magento 2 and Headless PWA Build for Anova Furnishings
RMG modernized Anova Furnishings' ecommerce with a headless React PWA, a Magento 2 catalog, and unified multi-store management that runs both Anova.com and sister brand Upbeat.com from one platform. The build includes a real-time product customizer and delivers page loads under one second.
Challenge
Anova's site ran on Drupal with a tightly coupled frontend, which limited performance and design flexibility and fell short of the experience its premium products called for. Separate catalogs and content libraries for Anova.com and Upbeat.com meant duplicated work, inconsistent product data, and slow launches of new products across both brands. With hundreds of configurable options across materials, colors, and components, customers also had no way to see their customized furnishings before ordering, which created uncertainty and lengthened sales cycles.
Solution
RMG decoupled the frontend from Drupal and built a new React progressive web app, then migrated the product catalog to Magento 2. A unified multi-store setup now powers both Anova.com and Upbeat.com from a single platform, so the team manages products and content in one place. RMG also built a real-time product customizer that uses image layering, so customers can see their chosen materials, colors, and components as they configure each piece.
