How does 50Pros make money? (Pricing & Cost)

January 28, 2024

50Pros is a platform that connects companies looking to hire agencies.

It is a two-sided marketplace consisting of the demand side (hiring companies) and the supply side (agencies).

There are two ways that clients (hiring companies) can find & hire an agency, which is directly tied to how 50Pros makes money:

  1. Browse the platform to directly connect with an agency (no middleman)
  2. Send a request to 50Pros and the match-makers will recommend the 3 best agencies based on the request

If a client sends in a request on 50Pros, then 50Pros takes a fee of 5% of the overall deal size as a management and brokerage fee. For example, if the deal closes at $100,000, then 50Pros is compensated $5,000 by the agency. All transactions are performed directly through client and agency without the involvement of 50Pros, so only the brokerage fee is paid to 50Pros.

Additionally, since 50Pros is an invitation-only and vetted platform, there are four criteria to officially join the network: an agency must get an invitation and submit a formal application and get approved after a two-week long vetting process and pay an annual fee of $1,520. All four conditions must be satisfied for an agency to get listed on 50Pros.

In summary, agencies are required to pay $1,520 per year + 5% per deal received from 50Pros (only if brokered by 50Pros).
