The main challenge was the integration of a bunch of third-party services and ensuring smooth data transfer and application’s operation. Leap allows virtual bank card creation and is integrated with payment platforms and verification services to provide a high-security level for financial transactions and flexibility for users to apply desirable payment methods.

Solution

Keeping sensitive data safe, we added Touch/Face ID verification to speed up the user journey and make biometric access to the app easу and modern. Status changes and new transfers will be instantly tracked with Firebase push notifications over the app. We also developed a practical and user-friendly dashboard for easily managing user accounts. This web-only tool helps to edit user account details, manage statuses, delete users, transfer funds to chosen accounts and set custom conditions for referred users (e.g., giving additional trial months).

Results

Its distinctive features include end-to-end encryption, biometric access, bank-level trust, goal setting, task assignment, transfers with flexible payment options, savings progress tracking, and spending money according to goals. As a result, we created a flexible mobile app streamlining accounts and finance management, helping parents to teach children healthy habits for achieving financial goals.

Challenge

KitchenAid is synonymous with premium kitchen equipment, but translating that craftsmanship into a digital product required careful design thinking. The app needed to feel distinctly KitchenAid — not just a white-labeled version of a generic smart home controller. Connected cooking also introduces unique UX challenges: users are often hands-busy, in noisy environments, and switching between physical cooking tasks and digital interactions. The experience needed to complement the cooking process, not compete with it.

Solution

We designed the app around the cooking experience itself, organizing features around recipes, appliance presets, and real-time guidance rather than technical settings. The interface uses generous touch targets, clear status indicators, and contextual actions that adapt based on what the user is doing. The visual design draws on KitchenAid's material palette — warm metals, rich colors, and crafted details — to create a premium feel that extends the brand beyond hardware. We delivered a comprehensive design system that ensures consistency as new connected appliances and features are added.

Results

The app launched to positive reception from both KitchenAid's internal teams and end users. Challenge

Yummly had established itself as a popular recipe platform, but the vision was much bigger — a comprehensive digital kitchen that connects content, planning, and hardware. The challenge was evolving from a recipe discovery app into a cooking companion that adds value before, during, and after the cooking process. The experience needed to integrate with connected appliances from Whirlpool's portfolio while remaining useful and enjoyable for users without smart kitchen hardware.

Solution

We designed the platform around the full cooking journey — from inspiration and planning through preparation and cooking. The recipe experience was enhanced with step-by-step guidance, timers, and smart appliance integration that sends temperature and cook settings directly to connected ovens and cooktops. Meal planning tools help users organize their week and generate shopping lists automatically. We maintained a standalone experience for non-connected users while layering in smart features that reward those with compatible appliances. The visual design emphasizes food photography and clean, scannable layouts that work in a kitchen environment.

Results

The digital kitchen platform positioned Yummly as more than a recipe app, creating a comprehensive cooking companion that adds value throughout the entire meal preparation process. The connected appliance integration demonstrated clear utility for smart kitchen users, while the meal planning and shopping features drove engagement among all user segments. To bring this vision to life, Goji Labs conducted extensive qualitative user research and iterative design processes. They discovered that travelers valued the personal stories and backgrounds of local guides, which added credibility and depth to recommendations. In response, the app was designed to feature detailed guide profiles, allowing users to connect more meaningfully with the suggested experiences. Monetization posed a challenge, as users had access to abundant free travel information. However, research indicated a demand for personalized travel planning. Goji Labs introduced a feature enabling users to virtually consult with local guides for tailored itineraries, enhancing user value and creating a viable revenue stream. Initially, the team considered developing a comprehensive itinerary builder. User feedback, however, revealed a preference for flexible planning. Consequently, the app adopted a lightweight approach, allowing users to save favorite spots and receive personalized suggestions without rigid scheduling. The final product, available on iOS and Android, offers a seamless interface that fosters authentic exploration through local expertise and personalized guidance. This approach not only differentiates Gaido in the travel app market but also aligns with modern travelers' desires for genuine, customizable experiences.

Challenge

Tech Transit was running dispatch operations on a mix of spreadsheets, phone calls, and disconnected GPS trackers. Dispatchers spent hours building daily routes manually, drivers received changes via phone or text mid-shift, and customers had no way to track shipments in real time. The result was rising fuel costs, missed delivery windows, and increasing customer service load from clients calling to ask where their freight was. Leadership needed a single mobile platform that could replace the manual workflow, give dispatchers real-time visibility into the fleet, and give customers a self-service way to track deliveries — without retraining the entire team or pulling drivers off the road.

Solution

Software Orca built a real-time logistics mobile app spanning three user roles — dispatchers, drivers, and customers — connected to a shared backend with live GPS data, route optimization, and automated dispatch scheduling. For dispatchers, we built a dashboard that auto-generates optimized routes based on driver location, vehicle capacity, delivery windows, and fuel efficiency — replacing manual planning with a tap-to-approve workflow. For drivers, we built a mobile app with turn-by-turn navigation, proof-of-delivery capture, and one-tap status updates that sync back to dispatch in real time. For customers, we built a tracking interface with live shipment location and estimated arrival times, eliminating most "where is my freight" calls. The platform was built with GPS-integrated route optimization, driver performance dashboards, automated dispatch scheduling, and live customer delivery tracking — all connected to Tech Transit's existing TMS through a clean API layer. Discovery, design, development, QA, and App Store and Google Play deployment were handled in-house by the Software Orca team in Dallas.

Results

Healthcare access for everyday users was fragmented across too many websites, apps, and information sources. Patients searching for nearby clinics had to navigate between separate booking tools, review platforms, and outdated clinic directories — losing trust in the process. Health information available online was overwhelming and often contradictory, making it harder for users to make confident care decisions rather than easier. Wait times, clinic hours, and doctor availability shifted frequently, but most platforms surfaced static, outdated information. Beyond the logistics problem, users had no built-in way to ask peers, join local support groups, or get real-world guidance from people facing similar health needs. The client wanted a single mobile platform that consolidated clinic discovery, appointment booking, real-time updates, and community support — accessible to users across age groups and technical comfort levels, including seniors and newcomers.

Solution

Software Orca built Clinic Link as a unified iOS, Android, and web admin platform on Microsoft Azure, integrated with the Bridge Care system. We followed a user-centered design approach with clear menus, fast load times, and three-tap navigation — built to work for users of all ages and tech comfort levels. Core capabilities we built into the platform: - GPS-based clinic discovery with offline support — users find nearby clinics with accurate routes and travel times, even in low-connectivity areas - Unified clinic profiles consolidating hours, doctor bios, wait times, costs, and verified user reviews on a single screen - Real-time data streams showing live clinic hours, wait times, and doctor availability — with push notifications when conditions change - Appointment scheduling and health goal tracking that syncs with the user's phone calendar - Community engagement layer with peer chat rooms, local health groups, and professional Q&A sessions - AI-driven recommendation engine matching users to clinics, doctors, and insurance options based on location, budget, language preferences, and health needs - Two-way information flow letting users rate clinics, exchange recommendations, and receive verified expert guidance The platform was built using ASP.NET and React JS on the backend with React Native on the frontend, ensuring native performance across iOS and Android from a shared codebase. Challenge

Designing a Reliable Company Verification System An important factor was limiting Krankque to only legitimate businesses, as loopholes could compromise trust. The DUNS Number verification, which acts as a global identifier for businesses, was initially considered to fit the purpose. The huge flaw with it was that the numbers are publicly accessible, making impersonation a reality. The team had to come up with a different verification mechanism that is Google-based, and companies have to pass it to access the platform.

Solution

The idea was successfully transformed into a working product. The system achieved positive market feedback. Registrations of new companies increased, and user conversion metrics improved. The system is being scaled continuously.

Results

We handled end-to-end development — including native iOS and Android apps, backend infrastructure, web-based admin panel, and user permission systems. The app is live and continues to grow with our support.
