How do I submit a guest article?
From your agency dashboard, navigate to the Articles section and click "New Article." You can write an industry-relevant article using the rich text editor, add a cover image, select a category, and add tags. Once submitted, your article enters a review queue where our editorial team checks for quality, originality, and adherence to content guidelines. Approved articles are published on the 50Pros blog with a byline linking back to your agency profile, providing SEO benefits and establishing your expertise.
What are the article submission guidelines?
Articles should be original, high-quality content that provides genuine value to readers. They must be relevant to the B2B services industry and should not be overtly promotional. Required elements include a compelling title, an informative excerpt, a well-written body, and a cover image. All content goes through moderation that checks for profanity, spam patterns, formatting quality, and misleading claims. Plagiarized content or content copied from other platforms will be rejected. If an article is rejected, you’ll receive feedback on what to improve for resubmission.
How often can I submit articles?
There is no strict limit on article submissions, but quality is prioritized over quantity. Our editorial team reviews each submission individually, and publishing decisions are based on content quality and relevance. We recommend focusing on well-researched, insightful articles that demonstrate your agency’s expertise rather than frequent low-effort posts. Articles that perform well (high read counts and engagement) contribute positively to your overall profile strength.
What is the Project Showcase feature?
The Project Showcase lets you create rich portfolio entries that highlight your best work. From your dashboard’s Showcase section, you can add case studies with a title, description, cover image, project URL, results metrics, and client testimonials. Showcases appear on your agency profile and help potential clients evaluate the quality of your work. Having 5+ published showcases earns you the Portfolio Pro badge. Featured showcases can also be highlighted with priority positioning on your profile.
What is the Expert Spotlight feature?
The Expert Spotlight is a VIP feature that gives select agencies enhanced visibility on the platform. Spotlight agencies may be featured in homepage sections, email newsletters sent to buyers, and curated lists. You can request a spotlight from your dashboard’s Spotlight section. Spotlight eligibility typically requires a complete profile, verified status, and a strong track record of reviews. Being spotlighted significantly increases your visibility to potential clients during the spotlight period.
How do I add social media links to my profile?
From your dashboard, go to Edit Profile and scroll to the Social Links section. You can add URLs for your LinkedIn company page, Twitter/X profile, Facebook page, Instagram account, YouTube channel, and other social platforms. Social links appear on your public agency profile, giving potential clients additional ways to research your agency and see your online presence. Adding social links also contributes to your profile completeness score (5% weight). Make sure to use the full URL (e.g., https://linkedin.com/company/youragency) for each platform.
